WPL Friends Winter Book Sale!

The Winter Book and Magazine Sale of the Friends of the Waterloo Public Library begins later this week and runs through Saturday.

A "Friends Only" preview sale begins Thursday, December 4, at 6:30 p.m.; Friends of the Library get first crack at the inventory until 8:30 p.m. If you're not a friend, don't despair: Annual memberships are a mere $15 and may be purchased at the door.

The sale opens to the general public Friday morning, December 5, at 9:00 and runs through 3:00 that afternoon with the same hours on Saturday, December 6.

The sale will be held in the basement of the Waterloo Public Library, located at 415 Commercial Street, Waterloo, IA 50701.

Closed for Thanksgiving

The Waterloo Public Library will close at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, and will reopen at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29.

There will be no Learning Center activities on Wednesday.
